The MNT School currently has the following classrooms for teaching and production:

  • Room 25
    • a 25-speaker multi-channel sound system arranged as follows:
      • ceiling-mounted eight-speaker system (8 Genelec SAM 8320 speakers, repositionable on a tubular system)
      • wall-mounted octophonic system (8 Genelec SAM 8320 speakers, of which 4 are repositionable on a tubular system and 4 are fixed)
      • lateral quadraphonic system (4 Genelec SAM 8320 speakers, fixed in position)
      • subwoofers (Genelec SAM 7350A)
      • Genelec GLM Calibration Kit
      • two stereo pairs (4 Genelec 1032)
    • DiGiCo S21 mixer with DMI MADI B (75Ω coaxial) expansion cards and 16 analogue DMI DAC outputs, connected to the SAM system via a Radial Catapult extender network
    • Apple iPad Pro 11" for controlling the DiGiCo S21 mixing console, with Apple Pencil 2
    • Yamaha DM1000 mixing console with Meter Bridge and MY16AT ADAT expansion card
    • RME UFX+ audio interface
    • RME MICSTASY microphone preamp with I64 MADI Card expansion
    • Audio feeds from various points in the hall to the control room via a Radial Catapult extender, coaxial MADI connection and an 8-input stagebox
